Justice P.B. Sawant 4th National Moot court was organized by MMM’s Shankarrao Chavan Law college, Pune from 25th to 26th February 2017.

With a huge response from various part of India , there were 44 participating colleges with 132 participants.

The chair of the Chief guest was honored by Justice J.Chelmeshwar, Judge Supreme Court of India. Justice P. B. Sawant , retired judge of Supreme Court of India and Justice V. Achaliya, Judge of High Court of Bombay were the Guest of Honor for inaugural function. In his speech J. Chelmeshwar said that “ Moot court is the best medium to expand the skill of advocacy”. According to Justice P.B. Sawant “ Every student must have freedom of thought and express his views” he also said that ‘ There is need to change in judicial system”. Justice V. Achaliya had talk about Liberty and Equality.

Principal District judge Mr. Prithviraj Chavan was the Chief guest of Valedictory and prize distribution function.

Winner team was Symbiosis law school, Hyderabad, Telangana- consist with Parvathi N, Anubha Pandey and Megha pillai.

1st Runners up trophy was bagged by Parvathi N , Anubha Pandey and Megha pillai a team from SNDT Law School, Santacruz (West), Mumbai.

Team from Symbiosis law school, Pune was the 2nd Runners up , the name of team members were Prabhanjan Nilakatan Nabeel Wasim Malik Kajal Maheshwari.

Final round was judged by Justice J. A. Patil, retired Judge of High court of Bombay, well known advocates Mr. Aseem Sarode and Mr. Datt Prasad Abhang.
