ADMISSION TO LL.B. (THREE YEARS LAW COURSE):

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

A candidate possessing the Bachelor’s Degree of Savitribai Phule Pune University, in any faculty with minimum 45% marks or corresponding degree of any other University recognised as equivalent thereto with the minimum prescribed marks is eligible to apply for admission to the First Year LL. B. Three Years Law Course. The above percentage of marks shall be relaxed by 5 % for candidates belonging to the SC, ST categories recognised as such by the Government of Maharashtra. A student who has successfully completed the Three Years course is entitled to the LL.B. degree and is eligible to practice as an advocate, as per the rules of the Bar Council of India.

ADMISSION TO B.A.LL.B.(FIVE YEARS LAW COURSE):

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

A candidate passing the H. S. C. (10+2) examination conducted by the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education, with minimum 45% marks or any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto by the Savitribai Phule Pune University with the minimum prescribed marks is eligible for admission to the First Year of Five Years Law Course. The above percentage of marks shall be relaxed by 5 % for candidates belonging to the SC, ST categories recognised as such by the Government of Maharashtra.
Important: – The applicants who have obtained 10+2 or graduation / post-graduation through open universities system directly without having any basic qualification for prosecuting such studies are not eligible for admission in the law courses.
